William John Krullaars
Dutch - Chicago Painter
1878 - 1945
Krullaars was born in Rotterdam, Holland on July 27, 1878. He studied at the Rottedam Academy of Art. Krullaars emigrated to Chicago in the late 1880's and studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. He painted watercolors and oils while working at an art store on Wabash Avenue. In the early 1920's lived in Santa Cruz, California. For many years, one of his paintings hung in the Hotel Casa Del Rey there. Krullaars exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Chicago Society of Artists. In died in Chicago on July 31, 1945.
